A little bit about who we are…. We are moms, daughters, sisters, aunts, cousins, and best friends. We are 2 generations of women from one family, living real life (ups and downs) with one another. Striving to grow together in our faith, encouraging one another to find God’s purpose for our lives and to reach those goals, to provide the best homes (and meals) we can for our families, and to invite YOU into our living rooms to share life with us!
Titus 2:3-5 says “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
Our world seems to lose just a little bit more of God’s Word every day, making compromises to what the generation before taught us. My mother taught me to love the Lord with all my heart, mind, and soul. She taught me to never compromise, but to obey the Word of God. She taught me to love my family and before anything else, share Jesus with each of them. She taught me to stand firm in my faith and just because “everyone else is doing it”, refuse to go with the flow. My desire is to teach my children the same… and if He allows me to be here for my grandchildren and great grandchildren, that is also my heart’s desire to share with them.
So it’s you + me and it’s only by His Grace that we share anything, know anything, or achieve anything!
