Fall is in the Air!

Can you believe it’s August 1st? It really is hard for me to process! This year is flying by! School is starting back and even though it’s still incredibly hot here in Georgia, it makes me feel a hint of fall coming our way!

Especially over the past week, as my home carried beautiful scents of pumpkin, apple, and cranberry! Oh my! I wish I could give you a little “whiff” of the heavenly scents as you read this post, but you will just have to take my word for it. My oldest daughter and I have been preparing for fall candle making the last few weeks, but the fun finally came together last week! ALL of our fall scented candles are available TODAY at https://thebutlerosa.com/shop/ (pint size only, for now). Pumpkin Caramel Crunch was our top seller last year, so it’s back again this year – along with: Grandma’s Wassail, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Dutch Apple Pie, Sparkling Cranberry, Cozy Sweater (Sugar & Fig), Cinnamon Strudel, Monkey Bread, and Banana Nut Muffins!!! WHEW! Makes me want to grab my boots, a cup of coffee, sit on my front porch swing, and imagine a cool fall breeze :).

I love fall and about everything that comes with it! Fall festivals, apple pies, sweaters, caramel apples, pumpkin everything, cooler weather, and of course, THANKSGIVING! Thanksgiving was my Dad’s favorite holiday! He told me more times than I can count, “the key to a joyful life is to give God thanks in all circumstances!” Dad was a thankful person year round, but he just loved to see and hear so many people focusing on giving thanks during the Thanksgiving season. It always makes a heart happy and full to be focused on giving God thanks! So, as we start this new month, maybe you will join me in making an intentional decision to be more thankful. Thankful on the good days and thankful on the not-so-good, for this is God’s will for us!

Have a beautiful day, filled with many reminders of how God has blessed your life and mine!

Love, Linda

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
